I spent a good part of the day reading and analyzing the 14th Amendment to the United States of America, trying to find any place where Bill could actually make an intelligent argument about his opinion that the President of the United State has the authority to raise the debt ceiling without the approval of Congress. Upon the 13th reading of said Amendment, I noticed that the word 'president' was mentioned only in the secitons talking about electing or running for public office. Section II touches on the appointment of representatives to the House of Representatives and the numbers associated with the selection of that office and who is eleigable to vote. Section III denies public office to anyone participating in insurrection or rebellion against the United States. That leaves us with Section IV and V, which the president is in no way mentioned. Don't believe me? Here it is:
Section 4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.Is the president mentioned anywhere?
Ok, so how exactly did Bill ever get to the point of saying that President Obama has the authority to bypass congress on the raising of the debt ceiling? Nowhere here does it say 'the president can, without consent of congress, increase the borrowing limit of the United States.' Doesn't say it, and he can not do it. But you know who can? Do you know who the Constitution gives that authority to? Check it out:
Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Wow, do you see that? The Constitution didn't forget to say who has the authority needed to
take such action, and it didn't leave it open to interpretation either. And it should come as no
suprise, becasue it's always the same. Lets look again shall we:
Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
CONGRESS shall have the power.....by APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION. It's all there, black
and white, clear as crystal. Congress has the power to either raise or deny a raise of the debt
ceiling. The president has the power to sign, or veto, what the who again? CONGRESS sends
to him. He is never given the authority to unilateraly circumvent the legislative branch of the
government.
So you know......holy crap Bill. How you ever got out of being removed from office after impeachment with the "define 'it'" or "is" or whatever that wonderful defining moment of american leadership was, still baffles me today. The fact that you got away with it is even more depressing. And now you are in the habit of putting language in the Constitution that has no business being there. Your arrogance of "I'd do it and let the courts try to stop me" makes me sad the American people elected you once, let alone twice. Do yourself a favor Bill and go back to law school. Learn to read and then have another crack at the Fourteenth Amendment. Although I doubt that another round of education would make you more intelligent. A spade is a spade.

So our National Debt should really only be about half of what they say
Why? Becuase about $5 Trillion of the $14.3 Trillion dollar debt, is owed to......drumroll please.......the United States government. Yes, that's right, and no, I don't know how that works out, but that is the latest breakdown of the national debt I have been able to find. So that should be fairly simple shouldn't it? Let me ask you this. Say you have $10,000 neatly tucked away in your savings account for a rainy day. One day you happen to lose your job, and you need $5000 to cover expenses for the next few months, so you withdraw that amount from your savings account. Now, would you view that as a debt you owe to yourself that needs to be repaid? Of course not, it's money you had to begin with that you spent. No wonder this country is so screwed, if we have to borrow money to pay debt to ourselves. How about we just forgive ourselves that debt? Sorry, we're not going to pay that $5 Trillion dollars, sorry me, I don't have the money to pay you back. The government is retarded, and so are all of us that buy into their B.S. A spade is a spade

President Obama, the Hypocrite
Here we go again. Six months ago, a crazy man was able to wound and kill several people in Tuscon Arizona, one of which was congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. All of us know that this act was wrong, and non of us show pity for the individual responsible for the act. In fact many of us would take care of him for free, if allowed to. And just like any liberal clockwork, the President and other nuts are at it again. In the near future, the White House will reveal their plans for tighter gun control measures. Most of which will not fix any problems dealing with gun violence in America, because they still tend to think that people bent on breaking the law, don't care about breaking the law. I'm not sure why that is too hard to understand, but for liberals it is. You might be wondering what this has to do with the Title of this post. And here it comes now. This quote was taken from President Obama recently:
"Non of us should be willing to remain passive in the face of violence or resigned to watching helplessly as another rampage unfolds on television."
Well I got news for you President Obama; About 80 million of us are not willing to remain passive and are not resigned to watch helplessly. That's why we live in states with concealed carry laws, so that when crazy people try to do insane things, we can stop them. That's why we fight so hard for gun rights, so that when that type of event takes place, we can stop it quickly. We may not be able to stop it from happening all together, but we are able to make sure the act is limited as much as possible. And that is why your words are meaningless to all gun owners. It's a great quote, and one that, from a different source, I would love to come out of a politicians mouth. The fact is you are a Chicago politician who has a voting record of keeping the people of the city of Chicago and state of Illinois defensless, even though your latest words describe a stand we would take to make sure good people can fight back. Your words are filled with what people want to hear, at a time you want to be re-elected. If you really want to change things, fight for the right of people to defend themselves against evil, against people like Jared Lee Loughner. Without proof or action to back up your comments, you are nothing but a hypocrite. I would love to be proven wrong here, but your voting record gives little hope of that. A spade is a spade.

There's a reason Democrats suck
Ok, so the article is from FOX news. So the hell what? This is exactly the reason why Democrats are the spawn of Satan (even though a lot of them don't believe in Heaven or Hell or God or Satan). If there is one thing in this country you should have to show photo ID for, it is to be able to cast a vote to determine the leadership of this country. Why doesn't old Bill Clinton and his idiot cronies just come out and say it? Let's just let Mexico tell us who to put into office. Becasue that's exactly what I get out of this. The GOP wants legislation to say you have to show a photo ID before you can vote. You can't even buy a pack of cigarettes or a bottle of beer without proper ID, why the hell would you ever let someone vote without making sure they are eligable? And how the hell could you compare legislation requiring EVERYONE (yes, including white people) to show proper photo ID to Jim Crow laws that guaranteed that minorities couldn't vote? It's not like the GOP is saying minorities have to have a photo ID in order to vote, and then pass laws saying they're not eligable to get a photo ID. What the hell is the Democrats' problem? Just another example of how they only care about how many votes they can get instead of doing something that would actually be good about the country. And this is exactly why I will only vote Republican or Independent because they are the only ones that give a damn about fixing anything. Democrats care about getting into office, playing the race card, telling the populace that we're too stupid and incapable of taking care of ourselves, or having a sexual scandal while in office. I hope someone reads this, and I hope it pisses you off. Either me, or it, but something should piss someone off today. Here's the article, a spade is a spade.

Janitor buys school new track
News doesn't have to be terrible all the time, and whether mainstrain media chooses to report good uplifting news instead of the swill they usually go for is really anyone's guess. Most often they do not. But just in case you were wondering, good things do still happen in the world. We just have to look for them.
Janitor wins $3.4 mil in Washington Lottery, still drives to work everyday to push a broom. He won the lottery five years ago. He still lives in a small house with his family and in-laws. He still CHOOSES to go to a job everyday, in the same little car, that he has for years. And now, he has donated the money needed for his track and field team to get a new track. Due yourself a favor, and read some good news today. Read the article, watch the video: http://www.king5.com/news/local/Evergreen-HS-Janitor-Donates-For-Track-119952774.html

Thanks a bunch FDR
I was trying to think of something to discuss when i was on the net and came across an article about the feds confiscating some very rare coins that were minted during the reign of President Franklin Roosevelt. Apparently the coins are worth approximately $8 million dollars a piece, making the collection worth about $80 million. But nothing about that was at all interesting until this very interesting revelation: They were made when the country's currency was still backed by GOLD. The article then went on to say that during the very prosperous time of the Gold Standard, it was not uncommon for coins to be traded for gold bullion or vice versa. That was until President Roosevelt took the country off of the gold standard, and established a system of unbacked currency. So is it safe to say, or even possible to say that our debt problem has exploded in great part due to the President of the United States at the time making our currency basically worthless? Is that why we have a problem? Is that why our current system is credit based, and not at all based on actual worth? What was the thought process involved in making that call? Well done FDR. A spade is a spade.

P90X
P90X is killing me. It could quite possibly be the greatest comprehensive workout program ever created. My first Plyometrics workout, I couldn't sit down for about 2 weeks. Military PT has nothing on it. It is pure gold.
Powerball
My latest attempt at retiring early ended in failure. Again. It seems my luck in predicting the future runs as good as Mr. Obama's.

First step to Reigning in government spending
How's this for an idea. Do you know the president has two (2) 747 jumbo jet aircraft to use at his disposal, no questions asked? Probably not. Do you know how much each cost the American taxpayer to purchase for an individual whose greatest attribute to mankind each election cycle is to reach yet another level of mastery in the art of lying? Neither do I, but I have read, and you can find this anywhere you care to research, that the annual cost per aircraft (low estimate) is almost 300, wait for it, million dollars per year. Wow. I'm sure glad the American citizen has been brainwashed into thinking one man is worth a minimum of $600,000,000 per year, just in vacation expenses. Plus all other expenses paid for by the taxpayer. Oh, and we also see fit to pay the man a salary for his "service" to the rest of the country. So there you have it. While we're at it, maybe we could stop funding members of congress' health insurance and stop paying them over $100,000 per year for the rest of their life for getting elected to one (1) term in office. And I thought of that in just a little over 5 minutes. A spade is a spade.
Casey Anthony Outcome
A lot of people are angry and/or disappointed in the outcome of the Casey Anthony trial. This is my thought. There was apparently not enough evidence to convince the jury that she killed her daughter. If the medical examiner couldn't even say for sure how the little girl died, then that means there is doubt to whether or not she was murdered by anyone. Casey Anthony undoubtedly was guilty of being a piss poor parent, but there are a lot of those in the world; and not all are going to kill their children. This verdict should not suprise you. Chalk it up to another OJ experience.

Fourth of July Athiests
Ok, here's the deal. You're an athiest right? You're the only one that really cares. Any time an athiest cries about their rights being infringed, they have no problem trying to infringe the rights of others. For example, lawsuit after lawsuit is brought against god-fearing people from the pledge of allegience to "In God We Trust" on American currency. But you have no problem forcing your views on others, case in point, having planes fly across the sky on Independence Day with athiest slogans for all to see. Why is one a violation of the 'seperation of church and state' but the other is a lawfull expression of free speech? The freedom of expression and religion was never designed for people to enjoy at the expense of another's freedom. Get over yourselves, that right is universal, no matter what your viewpoint. A spade is a spade.
